We're big fans of mushrooms, and around this time of year, we use them constantly in soup, stew, risotto, creamy pasta dishes and more. In fact, we discovered this brand new gadget while planning to make up a large batch of mushroom barley risotto, one of our favorite cold-weather comfort foods. It's a quick simple dish, with the exception of the time it takes to slice up boxes and boxes of mushrooms. If this handy gadget works as advertised, we'd be happy to let it take up a little extra space in our kitchen.
